Video: Off-Grid Tiny House deep inside a Belgian forest
Roel and Mic were looking for a permanent place in Belgium to which they could return after taking long trips in their camping van, and eventually they found an exceptional piece of land alongside a river in Belgium. On the site was an old cabin that they modernised into a stylish tiny house. They are completely off-grid and pump water from a borehole, generate electricity from solar panels and heat with solar energy and a pellet stove. They enjoy the peace and quiet, many kilometres away from the closest town, deep inside a Belgian forest.
Ysebaert, in collaboration with the installer 2E Eco Energy, designed the off-grid energy system and put it into service so that the entire system works optimally. Victron beautifully captured the installation in this video.
The installation is composed of:
- 3 x US5000 batteries
- Multiplus II 48/5000
- MPPT RS 450/200
- Cerbo GX + touchscreen
- Lynx distributor
- EV charger
