ATEX safety lighting LED for zone 1 and 21
The use of LEDs in emergency lighting represent savings of 71% compared to the frequently used 8W TL-lamp. In addition they generate a stable 100% light current. The life span of more than 80,000 hours renders this explosionproof fitting virtually maintenance-free. Testing autonomous safety lighting in dangerous zones requires special procedures and is very labour intensive. A safety lighting with active self-testing considerably increases safety. The fitting tests its emergency function, the lamp and battery itself at regular intervals. The status and potential errors are clearly signalled by means of a 2-coloured LED. The battery can be replaced in the dangerous zone without any extra measures. This fitting can be used in a permanent as well as in a non-permanent execution.
